Norm Reeves Honda is humbled by Brian's review

I didn’t get a great deal at Norm Reeves Honda of Cerritos. I got a super deal!!

Having thoroughly researched the 2011 Honda Fit online, I knew this car was for me for price, quality, function, and value. I knew the sticker, invoice, and fleet prices even before asking for price quotes from the Honda dealers. I sent out price inquiries to all the local Honda dealers using different websites, sometimes duplicating my efforts just to see the results of my inquiries.

Norm Reeves Honda had the best internet price, but another dealer was offering a lifetime power train warranty for a little bit more money. The salesman (Hammad Siddiqui) at Norm Reeves Honda was willing to deal and lowered their initial internet price twice in order get me to the showroom. When I arrived at the showroom Mr. Siddiqui was occupied with another customer so he had his associate (Dan Stone) complete the deal. We still had to determine the trade-in value of my car. Norm Reeves Honda made an initial offer for my car which was not quite what I was expecting. I told Mr. Stone that I was ready to make the purchase, if they would increase their initial trade-in offer by 500 dollars. Mr. Stone said the sales manager initially balked, but Mr. Stone was able to talk them into accepting my offer. I was able to finance the car at 2.99% which made the payments very affordable.

It was an excellent experience. Norm Reeves sold me the car at the price they offered without trying to add any options and/or premiums to the car. They also gave me a very nice offer for my trade-in. The sales staff was very professional and didn’t try to pressure me into buying anything I didn’t ask for. They even gave me a pen/keychain set and a set of really nice floor mats that were actually made for the car.

I understand they are one of the largest Honda dealerships on the West Coast which means they are allocated a larger number of cars. If you are looking for a specific color at a specific trim level then this is the first dealer you should go to. Since they are a volume dealer they can afford to sell you a car below their initial rock bottom internet offer.

I highly recommend Norm Reeves Honda to anyone looking to purchase a new car.
