Kevin Harris was born in Motor City, Detroit; you could very easily say that he was born to be in the car business. Kevin grew up in Morton Grove, a Chicago suburb, before his family moved to California in 1977.
Kevin studied chemistry at Cerritos College before taking a job at a nearby battery laboratory. Kevin spent the next 27 years in the battery manufacturing industry as a quality assurance guru.
When the company closed the plant, Kevin responded to a want ad in the PennySaver for an automobile sales position at Cerritos Dodge. At Dodge, he spent five years developing his craft of selling. This year, Kevin celebrated five years here at the Big Store in Cerritos and just loves his job. He also loves that he has a one-mile commute.
When asked, "What do you like about your work?" Kevin responded, "Overall, I love meeting so many different types of people."
Kevin stays busy with his family and has been married to his wife, Andrea, for 18 years. Together, they have three sons, ages 15, 17 and 30. He enjoys playing Texas hold-em poker and golfing. He also has excellent math skills (except when adding his score card).
